No chapter yet but…

I just found this crystal clear image of the cover.

What the hell is she doing?? Where the hell is it??

Hopefully today. Or tomorrow.

My compulsive checking of her site is bordering on stalking.

Completely random observation – why does Eric have short hair on these covers, when Sookie goes on and on and ON about his long blonde hair? I guess it’s long-ish here but from the descriptions in the books I always thought it was down past his shoulders.

UPDATE: The cover is up. Still no chapter. Cover has the addition of some sparkles – Sookie’s dress and the rose. It’s very pretty, I think I like this cover the best of all of them.

So finally the hardcore devotees on her forum are allowed to discuss what the rest of the internet has been discussing for well over a week now. There’s some interesting interpretations flying around.

Jeez this is ridiculous, just put the chapter up already! There’s creating suspense….and there’s blatantly milking it. We are definitely moving into the latter.

Don’t rub salt into my wounds! I still couldn’t buy DAG (downloaded it from Inet and read it as an idiot from bunch of sheets A4 size!) and I have no idea what will I do next May, when all of you will start to mull over DITF and I will go hungry around wandering what are you talking about!!! Or next summer when all of you will have a chance to see S3, I will surf the Net searching each piece of it and appreciate each screen short (God bless ‘pirates’! Never thought I’ll say it out loud!) Ugh! I’m already sobbing! So if you think that you are suffering, waiting for 1st chapter release, relax – my pain is worse!!!))))

Yeah, I kinda wanted to gripe about the wait for big release on the website and that my constant checking of it hasn’t paid off yet either, but now I just feel bad for ksr. My heart goes out to ya! I can’t imagine how bad that would suck. But thanks for making us all feel better, lol. 😉

OK, so, in this crystal clear, more close-up version, does anyone else notice that it looks like there might be two blooms (rather than two stems twining into one bloom), but that one of those blooms is hidden behind the other. That seems a little more ominous to me. Not that I want to cause panic in Sookieverse or anything.

I enlarge it’s size to 100×756 but still see just one rose:

Poor ksr… where are you that you can’t access the books as quickly as us, lovely?

I will actually be on my honeymoon when DITF comes out, so here’s hoping the local bookshop is quick on the uptake and will have plenty of copies! Or I’m dead!

Okay, I’m probably going to make it official that I also need professional help. Well, like we didn’t all know that already, lol. But…

I was reading the comments on CH’s website since the cover is allowed to be discussed there now and wow. It’s actually pretty funny. I’m still trying to see a Bill figure in the background holding his stomach. Or to understand how the rose is a symbol of Bill and Sookie is reaching toward him, not Eric. Though I did see the teeth in the background behind the stem. Anyways though, those posts got me into analyzing mode while staring and I had an “aha” moment.

There are 11 thorns visible on the stems, and if you count the leaves as sets there are 3 sets of leaves. 14 steps to the rose. 14 books in total. See I told you I was crazy. Of course, I revel in that craziness, so I’m going to interpret that to mean that those are the stepping stones (big, small, good and bad) to Eric and Sookie’s HEA (the rose). Also it seemed interesting that the thorns get smaller as they go up, perhaps indicative of Sookie’s aversion to realizing she’s in love with Eric getting less. I don’t know, but I just felt like I had to share my insanity with others.

Oh forgot to add that to support my insanity, I’m using the 14 total books b/c if I’m remembering right, CH had said that she signed to write 3 more after DITF and I’m counting A Touch of Dead as a book too. Okay, I know it’s farfetched, but at least I’m enjoying myself. Now I really should go to work before I’m late, lol. This crap is too addicting!

@ nskars“…where are you that you can’t access the books as quickly as us, lovely?…” In the middle of nowhere, practically! )))) Kidding! I’m in Russia. Usually we have a chance to see premieres of all Hollywood blockbusters earlier at least for 24 hours than the rest of world, but all TV series or books coming up later for year or two. So in that case there is several ways to serve my problem: 1) searching for illegal pirate’s production in Internet or in local video black market, 2) my or my friends vocation/business trip to Europe and shopping in local bookstores,3) go to honeymoon with you!))))

To seize an occasion I want to apologize for my English cause it’s not my first language and I’m sorry for all mistakes I’ve done and “all harm which I’ve cost” but as far as I’m not willing to burn up plead you don’t judge me too strict!)))))
Love you all and enjoy to be here because of sookieverseblog hospitable mistress and all of you as a unit and in particular! No kidding!!!)))

Well as long as I often read your blog with glass of red wine in my hand I understand all your posts perfectly well! Huh! Don’t you think that after all this confessions anti-Eric coalition will blame us for ‘alcoholism’?! ))))
