Final Season 3 Promo – W.T.F.

I’ve watched this five times now and I really don’t know what to make of it.

Did he jump in front of a bullet that was intended for someone else?

It just doesn’t make sense that Sookie would shoot Eric on purpose, nor does it make sense that Eric would have to jump in front of a bullet intended for him in the first place – but making sense is not compulsory for this show, so whatever.

This is obviously linked to the first clip, so I’m reposting that here as well. I’m thinking the first clip actually occurs straight after this new one, since in the earlier clip Eric is lying in the hall and has already been shot.

Let it rip, peeps.

PS. Random hip porn. Phwoar. Just had to mention it.

The only time Eric gets shot in the books is by Debbie….. Then Sookie shots Debbie…who is the tatoo guy??

Actually that’s not the only time Eric gets shot in the books. Remember in FDTW, when Sookie and Eric are driving back from the restaurant where Sookie had dinner with Niall, they get stopped by a car thinking its the cops but someone comes to the window trying to shoot sookie but Eric moves in front and takes the bullet.

The tattoo guy is a V addicted were, he is part of a motorcycle were gang.

Oh yes, I saw that hip porn too! LOL! No, they’re playing with us SVB. Sookie doesn’t shoot Eric because Eric takes the bullet inside of the living room while Sookie holds the gun by the front door. She’s facing the stairs like in the first clip. I think he takes the bullet for her while he’s inside of her living room.

I agree…he’s shot on the side of the piano, and then in the wrestling with the were scene you can see that he’s moved back to the space in front of the piano. What doesn’t make sense is why he’s facing the front door if he’s protecting Sookie. If he gets shot by the were wouldn’t he be facing the threat rather than facing her?

    • April 26, 2010 at 2:08 am

I think you’re right. Makes more sense that the were shoots Sookie, Eric takes the bullet, then Sookie shoots the were.

Also explains the look on her face after she pulls the trigger. She has her don’t fuck with me or I’ll kill you face on.

      Mmm updating my post lol.

Ahhhh, VL, love your attention to the details! You are, indeed, right on. Kelly1981…I am very very afraid you might be right…they are mixing in DTTW storyline with this season’s stuff…having said that, I also agree with you — if this is true ***head explodes*** Because, of course there isn’t ENOUGH shit going on this season…why not pull some extra stuff in to muck it up a bit more (Hunter, shooting, Tara being terrorized by FM …which I am guessing takes the place of Mickey). What a giant clusterfuck of a storyline this season has the potential to be!

      April 26, 2010 at 1:35 am

Yeah, he’s already inside of her house when he takes the bullet and then he starts fighting the Were. He’s already shot in that scene. I think she shoots the Were.

Besides the fact that where would Sookie get a gun? I’m sure the Were drops it during the fight and Sookie picks up after the fact. They are sooo trying to mess with our heads! lol The BL’s are going to have a field day with this but they’ll be sadly disappointed.

By the way, can anyone read the little cut thingie. Is this episode 1 or episode 3?

    • 17 Ericrocks
      April 26, 2010 at 1:42 am

The only problem I can see with this theory is that the were is naked, so he obviously just changed back to his human form. How would a wolf have a gun?

      • 18 Ericrocks
        April 26, 2010 at 1:44 am

Oh , and the board says #303, which I take to mean Season 3, episode 3.

        April 26, 2010 at 3:25 am

I think he shot her in human form, but changed into a wolf after Eric took the bullet. Bloodlust and all that… like how everyone shifted at Club Dead after the staking. It was against the rules, but they just couldn’t help it.

          April 26, 2010 at 3:34 am

ahhhh that makes sense bc in the first clip they start shooting with Eric on the floor already bleeding, and thats when the actor playing the were has a towel on and takes it off to start shooting. We don’t know if he was naked or not right before that part, he could’ve been dressed and thats why they cut and started re-shooting from that point on since he had to take off his clothes.

        • 24 Gigi
          April 26, 2010 at 3:48 am

And Eric, when is fighting with the Were, is also screaming at the end of the first promo: “Pull, shoot now”. So obviously he’s screaming to Sookie and that’s why she has the gun.

          • April 26, 2010 at 4:00 am

Gigi, when does Eric say this? All I hear is:
            Eric–Who do you work for?
            Were–Gimme a taste. Come on!
            Eric–Who sent you?

            • 26 Gigi
              April 26, 2010 at 6:30 am

At the very end, when he’s struggling in the floor with the were, you can see how his gaze is diverted from the were to the right while he is shouting to her: “Pull, shoot now!!!”

It’s begins at the end of 0:08

                April 26, 2010 at 8:11 am

I have watched it over and over and I still can’t hear him say that. To my ears it goes straight from the Were talking to Eric yelling “Who sent you?”

              • 28 Gigi
                April 26, 2010 at 10:10 am

It could be “who sent you”. I’m the only one here who weren’t born and raised in the US, but my husband and his family are, and at least he says that he hear “Pull, shoot now” (each one of the million and one times that I play it again LOL). In fact it was him who clarified it to me because I asked him what was he shouting when the promo came out and some were hearing “who sent you”?. He told me that, even when he’s yelling, if he were asking a question, his tone would be different and he wouldn’t do a long pause after the first word. And that it sounds like that because of his fangs. So blame him and not me 😛 because maybe he need a hearing aid HAHHAHAHAHA. But anyway it makes a lot of sense to me that he wouldn’t do a long pause after the first word and his tone would be different if he were asking a question, and wouldn’t use an imperative tone as if he were giving a warning or an instruction. Beacuse in english grammar, when you use the imperative mood to warn someone of danger, all the words in the warning are stressed, but the last word has a higher tone than the first word.

I def agree. Jason gives sookie a gun. Can’t member wich book.

  6. April 26, 2010 at 1:40 am

Rearranging the cuts, this is what I get:

The were shoots Sookie. Eric takes the bullet for her (again), grabs the were and demands answers. Sookie holds the gun on the were. So…if the were is at Sookie’s to kill her, Lorena has to be behind the kidnapping and murder attempt.

    • 33 VikingLover
      April 26, 2010 at 1:45 am

Yes! Not to mention that Eric ends the scene in the 2nd teaser in laying flat on his back just like he appears to be in the 1st teaser. Meaning that’s when the Were gets sidetracked by the blood gushing out of Eric’s body – he gets overwhelmed by his addiction and wants to drink from Eric. Remember in the first teaser when he’s saying something like “Just give me a taste” or something to that effect.

  7. 34 Dee
    April 26, 2010 at 1:40 am

I don’t think she shoots him, 3 reasons:

1-we saw 2 scenes of Sookie holding the gun that way, i doubt she holds the gun that way the entire time, even when eric is fighting the were

2-wouldn’t Eric be fast enough to get out of the way

3-In order for eric to even be in Sookie’s house, he would need to be invited in.

    • 35 MASpencer
      April 26, 2010 at 2:12 am

Yeah, the invite is pretty key. I know I heard some ABSURD theories blowing about some BL sites when the first Eric teaser debuted– some business like Sookie shot Eric when he attacked her and the were was someone Alcide sent to protect her (?!?!?!)– but really, do we think Sookie is stupid enough to invite him into her house without VERY good reason to believe it’s safe to do so?

By the way, I squealed aloud when I realized we were getting a SECOND Eric promo. It’s kind of embarassing. 😉

        April 26, 2010 at 2:15 am

Hee hee hee! Me tooooo!!! LMAO!!! I’m so excited that Eric takes a bullet for Sookie – yet again! Woot Woot!

      • 37 Dee
        April 26, 2010 at 2:22 am

Yeah, it just makes no sense. Why would Sookie invite him in and then shoot him? I think people are just really forgetting that you need to invite a vampire into your home, otherwise they can’t enter your home.

I think we’re just gonna have to deal with some people excited at the thought of Sookie shooting eric for 7 weeks.

I have to say if Eric takes a bullet for Sookie, its amazing to see. It’s one thing to read about him doing so, but just seeing that clip makes it even better to see him taking a bullet for her. Well that’s if he is doing that, but I’m thinking its a safe bet he is.

        • 38 VikingLover
          April 26, 2010 at 2:29 am

That’s exactly right Dee. Besides, Eric is a vampire so if he wanted to kill her Sookie wouldn’t stand a chance – there’s no way she would even have time to get a gun let alone pull the trigger. Let the BL’s have their delusions – they’ll be extremely disappointed.

In any case, we all know that’s not the case. Eric wouldn’t harm Sookie – he’s already saved her life once in Dallas.

        • 39 E
          April 26, 2010 at 3:45 am

I’m going with this theory. I think Eric would be too fast to let himself get shot by Sookie anyways.

  8. 40 LLE
    April 26, 2010 at 1:45 am

I hope Sookie keeps Eric’s bullet this time. In the book Sookie keeps Eric’s bullets. I am glad that they are showing Sookie and Eric.

  9. 43 Jo
    April 26, 2010 at 1:47 am

makes less sense to someone hitting a bullet on Eric, he is not super fast? I also think it is not what it seems because he was jumping as if he were playing in front of someone, but ultimately nothing in this show makes sense to me, and anyway we’ll find out soon. And if she was really looking at Eric does not make sense that after they fled together to the forest as the guy who plays the werewolf in the first promo posted on Twitter?

  10. 44 Dee
    April 26, 2010 at 1:50 am

Isn’t that an odd sideways dive with arms stretched out above his head, reaching for what? There’s nobody and nothing near him….will that be photoshopped in later? Anyone have a copy of the script? That’s what we need!!

    • 47 Serena
      April 26, 2010 at 2:04 am

if you look at the floor in the new clip, there appears to be a blue screen thingy behind the black padding.. so i think they will probably cgi in the were behind eric. thats my guess anyway.

    • 48 VampirePamsGirl
      April 28, 2010 at 2:35 pm

Arms stretched out above his head, reaching for something…. or maybe pushing somebody out of the way? 😀

I’m definitely with the majority here thinking that this teaser was specifically designed to lead us in the wrong direction.

And while I’m at it, I just have to also toot the Eric-Lovers horn for there being two teasers featuring Eric. I love the Viking love! 😀

  12. 49 Jo
    April 26, 2010 at 2:03 am

Eric is not jumping on Sookie, it was like jumping in the werewolf, has yet to enter the special effects so this scene is only part of a whole. We already know that the werewolf was attacking it, really I am not too worried about this shot is intentional.

  13. 50 Ericrocks
    April 26, 2010 at 2:07 am

I wonder what the time on the clip means. The first one we saw says 4:56 pm, and the second one says 4:35 pm. I agree whomever said that this last clip comes before the previous one.

  14. 51 Meili
    April 26, 2010 at 2:10 am

It looked like he was trying to block the bullet from hitting someone else, don’t know who since I don’t see anyone behind him. I agree with everyone else… doesn’t look like Sookie shot Eric. I think these teasers are more like “brain teasers”, where they seem to be jumbling up scenes to try to confuse us. It’s pretty clever, trying to throw the book readers off. Despite AB’s issues, he sure knows how to keep us going back for more!

Well, if this is episode 303 then its titled “It Hurts Me too” I agree this is shown not as intended for the final piece. Maybe this is where we finally get the bullet-sucker/ Big bullshitter banter plus the bullets that Sookie kept.

This is a great point! Now that you mention it, I wonder if this is also the scene where he tells her that Bill’s disappearance effects him too. The version of the books where he’s trying to convince her to go to MS to save her life, Bill’s life, and his life.

Oh, I hope so! It would be a great start to their playful banter on the show. So far there hasn’t been any really…

  17. April 26, 2010 at 2:34 am

Completely OT as well…but for those of you familiar with Sunnynala’s take on the first bullet sucking scene…this scene could act as a neat little trigger for a conversation between E/S about what actually went down. Just a random thought.

You’d think if Eric has been shot again in front of her that incident is going to come up in the course of things.

    • 62 VikingLover
      April 26, 2010 at 2:41 am

  18. 63 Ericrocks
    April 26, 2010 at 2:40 am

Do we know for sure that this is the final clip or are we just assuming so because the mini episodes start next week. The mini are fillers between Season 2 and 3, so they very well may continue to also show these Season 3 clips. I am just wondering because I have read “final clip” several places, but can’t find any confirmation of that info.

    • 64 marlnails
      April 26, 2010 at 2:52 am

The mini episodes In my opinion are for the pieces of the story of the plots that are brand new for the series and the books. Like the questions of what Bill does for money, The Bellefure’s/ Compton family connection, All this was left out of the last 2 seasons but not left out of the books. also there are points of the story that are new like Jessica’s storyline and Eric/Pam hiring Yvetta. Maybe even going as far as Hadley’s story before she met Sophie Anne to bring in the history of Hunter. Remember people that the show is trying to add 10 books worth of material. so there is going to be gaps in the story if they continue to add points from the later books then book 3 and 4.

      April 26, 2010 at 3:04 am

Well that makes sense that there is 6 waiting sucks and 6 mini-sodes since the last 6 episodes of season 2 aren’t exactly 50 min long. these are the shorter filmed ones of the whole second season.

  19. 68 dsm
    April 26, 2010 at 3:13 am

I think they are playing with us here by pulling things out of order. The whole fact that Eric is leaping when he’s hit by the bullet makes it unlikely that Sookie is deliberately shooting him. You don’t leap in front of a bullet meant for you.

    • April 26, 2010 at 3:14 am

Exactly. Wherever that bullet came from, either the person shooting it is a piss poor shot, or it wasn’t meant for him.

    • 70 Dee
      April 26, 2010 at 3:20 am

LOL yeah that right there shows how it can’t be that. So Eric runs and jumps to avoid a bullet but meanwhile runs right in front of it when he’s trying to miss it lol. He is also extremely fast, it would be hard for anyone to shoot a vamp while he is running and actually getting him, but Sookie is supposed to do this? Makes more sense that Eric is fast enough to run across the room and jump right in front of the bullet to protect Sookie.

I think I said in the first promo post that with the lack of Bubba, they seem to be mixing the Were attack to Sookie with Debbie’s. IMO, he’s jumping to take the bullet, he’s not jumping to dodge it.

I said on Twitter when the Where is Bill promo came out… who the f*ck cares… I said good bye to him a long time ago (that is when i read the books for the first time and got to the scene in Dallas when he went and feed on a donor with Sookie in the other room).

  23. 80 aposmeal
    April 26, 2010 at 5:51 am

Just because they show a shot of Sookie with a gun does not mean she shot Eric. If you notice The gun Sookie is holding is not smoking. So she has not yet fired her gun. I think this is a red herring to throw us off.

    • 81 Ashley
      April 27, 2010 at 1:43 am

Yes i agree. I think she grabbed the gun the Were dropped and aimed at him to keep him from attacking again, and they just showed two small separate clips of them filming and put them together to make it look like something else. Have to fake out the BLs and give them hope ya know.

  24. 82 ksr
    April 26, 2010 at 7:55 am

    Now everything looks pretty logical.
Scene 1. Werewolf in his wolf form (that’s why we don’t see him at the first scene during shooting – it will be added later as a special effect) attacks Sookie. In futile attempt to protect herself she shoots him. But at the same moment Eric jumps forward trying to stop him and the bullet meant for Were hits Eric. (It will be made also with special effect, so it will looks like Eric moved with all his vampire speed and it will explain why Sookie didn’t see it).

    • 83 ksr
      April 26, 2010 at 7:55 am

Somewhere in between scene 1 and 2 Were returns to his human form.
Scene 2. Were attacks Eric while he is hurt by gunshot wound and not capable to move with all his strength and speed. Sookie tries to prevent it by second shot to the Were but her gun is empty and she fails. Eric manages to grab assailant by himself and shout: “Who send you?”

    • 84 MASpencer
      April 26, 2010 at 4:49 pm

That’s what I thought at first too. But if that’s the case, why would Eric be diving sideways instead of running toward the (at the moment invisible) Were in full-on attack mode? I think it’s pretty clear that he’s intercepting a bullet for someone. And since it makes no sense for him to be sacrificing himself for the Were– yes, I’m sure he probably wants to get information out of him, but I doubt he’d take a bullet for it– he must be diving to keep Sookie out of the line of fire.

In this case, the only question remaining would deal with why Sookie is holding a gun BEFORE the shot goes off. Unless it’s edited/spliced from two different takes (and I don’t think it is) that doesn’t really make sense, sequentially speaking. Of course, it could be one of those shots where the camera pans up during Eric and the Were’s fight (which I assume will commence in CGI) to show Sookie with a gun (presumably the one that was dropped by the Were). Thus Sookie shoots the Were and he reverts back to naked human form. (There’s no other reason I can imagine as to why the Werewolf would shift back, other than injury, much in the way Sam shifted back from dog to human when he was being beaten by Rene.)

Sookie also could have had the gun from the beginning– either because Eric gave it to her, or because she already had it in the house. In this case, maybe Eric is jumping in the middle of a Mexican stand-off between Sookie and the Were, in which the Were managed to get the first shot.

Also, similar to what you suggest, there could be a fight going on between Eric and the Were (which we can’t see, of course, because it’s CGI) and Sookie tries to shoot the Were but hits Eric instead. But I don’t think this is what’s happening, because 1) again, Eric appears to be diving sideways, not caught in a mid-air fight, and 2) I don’t think there would be ANY contest between Eric and a Were, so I doubt Sookie would feel as though she’d have to intervene.

in the clip sookie is a total rabbit in the headlights. i don’t think she’ be capable of much by that point in the night.

I agree with you guys, this is just to jerk with us. There’s no way Sookie would deliberately shoot Eric and then remain so cool about it. They only want to make it believe so, so that people will talk about it.

It’s rather weird that they gave us 2 promos that relate to the same scene. Not that I care, but it’s curious that they gave us no clue of how Sookie will react to Bill, I guess those scenes are kept hidden on purpose.

What is really interesting is – what they are going to make of it? Will Sookie feel sorry and guilty for Eric’s wound (cause he tried to protect her while she hurt him by accident) and will it force her to give him her blood or it will be just one more step to make her feel more attract to him and make her feel more confidence in Eric? Everybody knows – nothing attracts woman to man more than feeling of guilt and compassion… 😉

    • April 27, 2010 at 1:39 am

I will be concerned if Sookie give him her blood atm. I’m really hopping that it will come in s4 when they finally have sex. I’m worried that the addictive quality of Sookie blood will entrall him as it has Bill, and then the BL will call false love.

    • April 26, 2010 at 9:59 am

It does look like she is wearing the ring. Which shoots my guess that this is after Bill is rescued.
In CD, Sookie and Eric drive home from Miss. they have the argument about the driveway and Sook gets attacked inside her home by the bikers. I guess it’s too early for that.

Yes, it has been confirmed that that his “the ring”. So, Bobsgran, it is too early for that scene for I doubt she would still be wearing it if it was after they got back from Miss. Although I do hope that scene will be in TB… I would love a good battle! I also like the part on their way back, at the gas stop and how Eric says “You are speaking of my future lover. Be more respectful.” LOL! I do so enjoy Club Dead!!

Ditto. I am doubly annoyed at that fact since she’s supposed to be the best actor/actress of the whole bunch, bar none.
Not only do we have to deal with altered storylines just so that Beeeehl doesn’t look as shitty as he is in the books, and Eric not as engaging, but then we have to deal with Anna’s often glacial stance. Sure, it’s partly due to the fact that AB & Co. have cut the playful banter we know and love from the E/S relationship.

And now this… I still hope it’s BS, that they’re only trying to make it seem that’s what happened.

yeah, the worst one for me was ‘mrs thornton, lafayette was recently shot’ that had less feeling than if she’d stubbed her toe.
she should stick to not talking, not moving and trying to keep out of the way of the camera. or be replaced by someone who can act.

i always saw sookie as ‘well endowed’ and ‘snazzy/spunky’ so maybe like eliza dushku, or julia styles….

i dunno, i aren’t really up to speed with actresses, i still miss watching buffy cos spike was hot. but i was sure they had all auditioned….

I loved that part too. In Season 2 they had Bill say a line just like that in Dallas. Its when Stan and Isabell are fighting and then they call Sookie Eric’s puppet.

          Sookie: Hey!
          Bill: Respect her!
          Sookie: Thank you.

Oh god…I almost threw up at that part. It was such bad writing and the acting was even worse. Why oh why did they have Sookie say “thank you.” Its so ridiculous. A good actor probably could have made it work, but Anna Paquin did not. And don’t get me started on Bill…

Probably not Kelly. This blog is hosted on free wordpress, and on here I can only embed videos from You Tube.

I would think uploading full webisodes to You Tube will violate their terms of use, so I can’t imagine them showing up there.

This scene rings of Club Dead, for sure. The were pack is in Sookie’s house waiting to spring on Sookie and Eric when they arrive. Eric is shot, Sookie is beaten to a pulp.
But AB will do what he will and I understand it – I mean, he has to combine DTTW + CD; he knows he has Season 4 locked up, but who knows how many more seasons he will have to work with, 10 books and counting? Creatively, I think he’ll diverge even further from the books. Tho, I would like to see him do the vampire summit in Rhodes (All Together Dead).

I still contend that Sookie did not shoot Eric as her gun is not smoking and the shot of her with the gun is the same shot as in the first video but pulled back so we see all of her. Who says these shots are sequential? They could be spiced together. AB has done that in previews before.

I’m not sure. I think this is all from a single take. Granted, I don’t think we can see everything that’s going on, because a lot of it will be added via special effects later. So what we DO see in this take is already inherently misleading on its own…

I am thinking this is when Sookie and Eric get back to Sookies house (after rescuing Bill and the incident at the gas station) there are supposed to be a bunch of Weres waiting for her at her house, but this looks like just one with a gun??

    • April 26, 2010 at 6:24 pm

This is only episode 3 so I think that this is while they are figuring out how to get Bill back, Russel lends his Were’s to Lorena to go get Sookie, after all I am sure Mississippi would love it’s own telepath just as much as Louisiana would right? Lorena could just send them to get her so she can cause Billy boy some more pain. No end of possibilities for Russel to have sneaky plans and use Lorena with that one.
It will be interesting to see where AB goes with the engagement ring I think, whether Bill will betray Sookie or not, because of course in true blood Bill’s initial betrayal isn’t there (that he left for Lorena and was going to pension Sookie off, makers call or no makers call) I am sensing the whole righteous “Bill is in trouble I have to be in complete denial about how much of a sap he is and how really i want Eric” with the wearing of that ring, should be interesting!

Anyone notice that Sookie’s hair is same kinda disheveled and she is in the merlottes tee and Eric is wearing the same jacket as in that screen shot we got a while back where he has her gripped against the wall or whatever? The one that came with Eric in what I hope is a cherry red corvette.

These scenes are actually pretty close to a couple of Season 3 fanfic’s that are out there too 😀

Personally, I’m hoping Eric kisses Sookie after the confrontation with the Were– and that’s what we’re seeing in that screencap. I really missed that part from the giant disappointment of a bullet-sucking scene True Blood gave us. I just love how danger turns Eric on in the books… it would be nice to see that carried over into the show.

But I’m not holding my breath. LOL.

        April 26, 2010 at 6:48 pm

Yeah, I think the pic of sookie against the wall and eric in front of her will happen before this scene. The were in Sookies house that Eric wrestles with will also be at Merlotte’s looking for Sookie(the actor liked tweeting about what he was doing on TB)so that would be similar to beginning of CD when Sookie gets to work and gets attacked by the were and Bubba kills him(whom eric sent to watch sookie). Arlene told Sookie a were was in earlier looking for her. Since no Bubba on the show, Eric will probably go watch over Sookie himself. In the pic she is leaning up against a brick wall so shes probably at work in that pic. Eric probably comes to warn her, somehow comes out that somebody is at the bar asking questions. Eric takes her home after work to make sure nothing happens to her. While in the house the were breaks in and I think tries to shoot Sookie but Eric jumps in front of her and takes the bullet for her. The were is addicted to V so probably goes into a frenzy when he sees Erics blood and that allows for Sookie to run and get the gun then Eric and were fight on the floor and Eric tries to get answers.

So instead of Sookie getting attacked at the bar, it will be in her house and instead of Bubba killing the were, it will be Eric. Its only episode 3 so cant be the scene where they return from MS. I am HOPING that since they are in Sookies house, it gives him the opportunity to see how messed up her house is and helps fix it.

Of course just my theory, can end up being very different

Is it possible that the were uses a gun to shoot Sookie to make it look like a break-in rather than tearing her to little pieces?

This would be the first time that Eric’s been to Sookie’s house in TB right? Perfect time for him to see the state of her driveway and house to motivate him to have it fixed up. hehe.

I agree with you Dee. It is too early for them having come back from Miss. in Ep 3. Since there is no Bubba, Eric should be the one who takes out the Were.

I think the gun seems to just be a weapon of choice for Weres. Even in the books. Gives Eric the perfect opportunity to take a bullet for Sookie, since it will hardly kill him. I like this opening, and them being at her house. I want to see (as well as all BLs to watch) how he cares for her enough to take care of her needs. I like the fact too that since the attack is happening at Sookie’s house instead of at Merlotte’s then its more intimate between E&S, re-enforce their bonding.

Lets just hope it all works out this way, most other stuff just wouldn’t make sense.

Yeah I love that Eric can do even more for Sookie on the show. They did take away from Erics character but they can also give his character more to do for sookie. I also prefer it happening in her house, seeing them alone and starting to bond. Maybe it worked out that Eric was the way he was the first 2 seasons. If he was willing to kill a vamp for her right away and doing things for her, then on screen maybe wouldn’t played out the same way. This way we can see just how much he changes bc of Sookie. If he was like this from the beginning then Sookie wouldn’t seem so special and how out of the ordinary this would be for eric before she came along. In the books we realize this bc there can be more dialogue in books, on tv you wouldnt have that opportunity so his actions changing so much on the show will show his growing feelings.

Based on what we know right now, I can only imagine this happening in a couple of scenarios: 1) a dream with Lafayette, or 2) some version of the hook-up at Russell’s mansion.

Oh, and it COULD be a flashback with Godric, too. I think it was fairly implicit that the two were lovers at some point in their 1,000 years together, so it wouldn’t be a far stretch at all– especially considering the fact that this season will presumably be dealing with maker-child relationships pretty heavily.

It reminds me of how Mark Blankenship joked last season that Eric’s biography would be titled: “Turned By a Twink: The Eric Northman Story.” I almost peed myself when I read that. So true. LOL!

Oh yes, I think it takes them a short time to recover from getting hurt. You can tell from the clip that he’s immobilized because he’s lying on the ground as he’s trying to hold the Were off by the neck.

If the Were had been drinking vampire blood he’s obviously stronger than a common werewolf, besides the fact that Eric is weak because he’s loosing blood (remember that blood = life and it takes time to a vampire to heal from a wound).

Also remember that Eric healed quicker from the bullet at Godric’s because actually Sookie sucked them out and they didn’t got out by themselves.

My ramblings on the Sookie Stackhouse books, and the HBO series True Blood. Spoilers and Viking worship are rampant...you have been warned!
