(i’m very sorry, i just posted this at the end of the last thread, but i think people might want to see… that is why i am risking severe OT-ness)

If you’re in the US, and you’re on Facebook, you should go here:
    http://www.facebook.com/TrueBlood?v=app_119523251411475&ref=mf

It’s a nightly contest running until May 28th. if you’re one of the winners, you get tickets for yourself + 1 guest to the True Blood Ultimate Fan Experience, which is a 50 city, one night only event. Features a “live simulcast Q&A with creator Allan Ball and cast members, a screening of the season 2 finale and a sneak peek of what’s to come in Season 3. One lucky Truebie could win a $5000 grand prize and all the essentials for throwing the ultimate True Blood Season Finale 3 party”

And, you can enter multiple times, so just keep trying till you win. i happened to be up at 4:30am and won on my first try, so…all you do is reg as a fangbanger, shifter, were or vampire, and choose your city from a list of where they will be doing these events. then you wait for that city to pop up, and click “play” … that’s it.

    (svb sorry again!!)

Hey I just won on my first try too. These tickets must be really easy to get.

    • May 16, 2010 at 1:44 am

I won some, too. ๐Ÿ™‚ Woo!

        May 17, 2010 at 4:03 pm

Grrrr. I haven’t won yet. But I’m in New York. I bet I have too much competition! Though I’m of two minds about it. On the one hand I’d love to see the live Q&A, on the other, to be forced to watch the episode I loathed the most on a big screen, would pretty much be torture for me.

          May 17, 2010 at 4:19 pm

If it makes any difference the event doesn’t start until 11:30 PM Eastern on a Tuesday. I’m not too thrilled anymore and it might not be worth agonizing over.

Oh. Thanks! Perhaps not worth it. Now if they were screening Episode 9…..THAT I’d see at 3 in the morning! LOL!

On the one hand I love all of these promos but on the other hand they’re freaking killing me!! The wait for S3 is excruciating! ๐Ÿ™‚ By the way, that shot of E/S you posted above is my favorite pic from S3 so far. Even more so than the kiss scene.

WOO HOO just 15 more mins!!! I agree VL, I love seeing all these things but gets you even more excited and the waiting seems longer. To make it seem faster, on Sundays after they re-air the S2 episode i say to myself “ok next time I watch it will just be 3 weeks” it works for me hahaha

AS naked in the first episode? NAKED? I mean, I knew we were going to get more skarsporn and here i thought he’d just be shirtless when Sookie showed up, but so much at once? GAH! And then it talks about him walking around like a lion.. I gotta go find a paper bag!

The call disturbes me, before it he says that he shouldn’t be with humans because he harms them… I don’t want him to leave Sookie because of that, I want him to be a bad ass… lol. I’m sorry, I hate Bill… And that is because of his personality not his psicopathic addictions. What’s wrong with me! lol

She is not leaving her house… The next day she is cleaning and Alcide appears. But I don’t know where are they going, I hope she just returns in the morning?

              May 16, 2010 at 11:30 am

they leave her house just to search for the were’s car. the scene with E/S in the woods is after they find it. that’s how they know the were is from jackson.

        • 46 VikingLover
          May 16, 2010 at 12:29 am

Yes, the actor that played the Were tweeted that Sookie and Eric run out of the house after the attack.

Also, we see Lorena with another woman, that woman was the same one that was with Bill right? Looks like Bill is having his own fun too. I wanna hear them call sookie a skank now.

    • 48 Ashley

Bill has history of killing people for sport and sooner or later Sookie is going to find out about Bill being serial killer.

Bill has no honor and Sookie will find that out.

I’ve lurked for months, finally decided to jump in. This is a great blog.
Just watched the promo a bunch. Slo-mo’ed it and I swear there is what looks like a scene of Eric lying on the floor, maybe injured (wearing he black tank of sexy) while Sookie is standing in front of him taking off a white robe or shirt or something.

Can June just get here already?? lol

    • 85 Dee

      May 16, 2010 at 12:30 am

I think he’s on a mattress or bed of some kind, and Sookie appears to be wearing the same robe she’s wearing from the earlier promo where she’s moving in to kiss him.

I wonder if it’s when he gives her his blood after the staking.

        • May 16, 2010 at 12:35 am

Nope. That’s a mighty healthy Sookie that disrobing.

        • 89 Lotus
          May 16, 2010 at 12:39 am

Renee is right. Sookie is up and on her feet while Eric is on his back. I have no idea what scene that could be, unless it’s another dream sequence. But that doesn’t seem to be the case here.

          • May 16, 2010 at 12:44 am

If Eric’s wasn’t hurt when he torched Russell, maybe he’s going to fortify Sookie with his blood for the big escape. That’s a hell of a way to go about it, though. Either way, it looks like there’s going to be a blood exchange and at least an attempt at nookie.

            • 91 sunnynala
              May 16, 2010 at 2:20 am

I think it’s Russell getting torched, right? It looks like a very upscale foyer he’s in, with a winding staircase in the background?

              • May 16, 2010 at 3:28 am

There was also talk about it being Talbot. IDK, they’ve both been seen in hunting pink, but in this scene the jacket looks brown or black.

                May 16, 2010 at 11:30 am

I hope it’s not Russel, he has a lot to play yet in more seasson… <Someone said AB had only payed for the first 7 books, that means no Nevada and those politic plots… Which means will play it with what he has, which is more than enough. But he needs Russel.

          • 99 Lotus
            May 16, 2010 at 12:52 am

I’m not sure it is a dream since we see Sookie coming on to him in the earlier promo wearing this same robe. Then again, it could be a dream, but it doesn’t have that dreamy, unfocused look, and Eric is strangely down on his back like she pushed him there. Wasn’t there a mention recently by AB that Sookie and Eric share an intense scene? Could this be that scene? Why on earth would Sookie be getting down to her drawers when she’s possibly in Alcide’s apartment? Aaaaaah! This is going to make me nuts!

            • 100 Dee
              May 16, 2010 at 1:04 am

I was trying to figure out where they are. Could it be Alcide’s? The windows don’t look like regular apartment windows but you never know lol. Doesn’t anyone have a pic on the set of tb when they showed Alcide’s apartment?

              • 101 Lotus
                May 16, 2010 at 1:55 am

It could be his apartment. Wasn’t it described as being an old building in CD? I wish I could remember …

It doesn’t seem fancy enough to be a room in the King’s mansion.

Okay, so I went back to look at the promo from earlier this week and at mark .12 Sookie and Alcide are sitting on a bed in his apartment. It looks like the same room and the same bed as in the E/S scene, except you’re looking at the opposite side of the room which has a wall instead of a row of windows.

              • 104 Ashley
                May 16, 2010 at 2:03 am

I think its at Russels. The room looks upscale, like it would be at a mansion.

Hey, you guys, I don’t think is the same robe, the texture is completly different, the other one seemed more like pjs, this is SEXY underwear, seems to me they are going to do the blood exchange somehoe, maybe differently but still! also, it looks like the interior of a rich mansion, does that ring any bells? Kisses to everybody!

      • May 16, 2010 at 12:45 am

        Quite brazenly, too.

  23. May 16, 2010 at 12:29 am

You described it perfectly, Riz. Russell is the one on fire, so that must be part of Eric’s retribution. If he gets injured, then that explains why he needs Sookie’s blood. Wow! That was sooo much more than I was expecting, I can’t digest it all. Loooved the “Invite me in” clip.

    • 108 Dee
      May 16, 2010 at 12:32 am

It looks like they were with the dark-haired girl together. When Lorena is pushing back the girl’s face towards the end of the promo, you can see another set of fingers entering the shot and reaching for the girl.

Arg… It seems Russel, yes… Argg, I would hope he doesn’t get killed though.

it is not a brick wall. it is clearly sookie’s house. but because it’s a very old one you can the see the wood panels which are beneath the white paint.

I was talking about the photo they leaked with that showed Eric and Sookie against the wall. They purposely put a brick wall in to trick us. They released it a while ago, before the Season 3 trailer.

I’m sure they will Robin. You just have to run really quickly to Youtube after they initially air. Some people post the episodes and they remain online for a day or two before youtube pulls them down. That’s how I was able to rewatch some of the eps from S2 during the season – before I had a DVR.

Thanks VL, I’ll be sure to get on that as soon as the episodes air. Sunny recently gave me some links where I can watch TB episodes, but I somehow doubt S3 episodes will be posted to those sights quickly. (much appreciated Sunny!) Season 3 looks like it is going to be outstanding!

    • 132 Lotus

      It was crazy!

I think Eric was finishing off the were at the end. He’s wearing the same shirt from the scene in Sookie’s house, so that would be before they are walking down the road and he has blood on his mouth.

    • 134 Charlotte

I was trying to see who Eric was biting but it’s almost impossible to stop it at the right time. And it doesn’t look like they who much of them anyway. And I agree the whole ‘Invite me in’ scene is just HOTT.

            May 16, 2010 at 1:18 am

You are most welcome, the green just made me think of the green blanket and Eric’s T-shirt at Fangtasia after the Maynaed(?) attack, AB showing us that Eric trusts Alcide with Sookie?

            • May 16, 2010 at 3:24 am

Yes, and I also think that CH & AB use green to symbolize life. Bill brings death into Sookie’s life, and Dawn Green dies in DUD. Eric heals and brings life back to Sookie who is herself spiritually dead. That’s why the rape and draining in the ‘tomb’ of the white Lincoln and Eric’s subsequent rescue is so significant. I think by the end of the series, someone with name associated with the color green will move to BT.

Renee, I happened to remember, Sookie wore green when she went to check out the tornado at the Ratts…thoughts?

                • May 18, 2010 at 2:52 am

                  Course. ;~)

Sookie’s depression/death wish/alchemical negredo phase is related to Bill, who is Death personified. That’s why Sookie only wore green before she succumbed to him. The next time she wears it is after she has consumed Eric’s spiritually life giving blood and Death has gone missing.

      May 16, 2010 at 11:47 am

I’ve to say that I’m thinking on that too… And I hope AB is not trusting that. Maybe Bill is lying himself, so he has an excuse to himself to go back to Lorena… He might see it as a sacrifice when it is not. Or this or he is just leaving because he wants, I hope AB doesn’t look at it as a real sacrifice; it is not Bill Compton ways… It disturbs me.

      • 149 VikingLover
        May 16, 2010 at 3:25 pm

That’s true but at the same time, AB has to find a way to redeem Bill because in the books Bill does return to Bon Temps at the end of Book 3 (and both he and Eric save Sookie from the Weres) and he does remain in Sookie’s life for a while. That’s why I’m thinking AB won’t make him too evil because then it wouldn’t coincide with the books. Plus, we still have the fact that he was sent by the Queen and hasn’t yet told anyone about that. I think Sookie will leave him like she does in the books but I think Bill will also be redeemed and remain in her life like he does in the books. At least I think that’s how they would do it but I’m not sure because I never expected S3 to be like this. lol I’m so excited!!

          May 16, 2010 at 3:34 pm

Honestly, Bill is the Serpent in the Garden, imo, and there will be no redemption. All his counterparts so far–Rene, Amy, MA–have died so I think Bill will too, in the end. (Newlin is another one I think will die)

I think he’s telling Sookie not to find him because Lorena has either 1) threatened to kill Sookie, which would make his life not worth a plug nickel with the queen or 2) threatened to tell her about the mission.

          • 151 VikingLover

[I think heโ€™s telling Sookie not to find him because Lorena has either 1) threatened to kill Sookie, which would make his life not worth a plug nickel with the queen or 2) threatened to tell her about the mission.]

This is such a great point, Sunny! If he does do it to save Sookie’s life then it’s not really entirely selfless considering that his job is to keep her safe for the Queen. Also, I would assume that on some level he thinks he might make it out of this situation alive considering that he has some kind of “in” with the Queen.

            May 17, 2010 at 10:23 pm

No matter wich one of the two could be true, both alternatives will make him again the poor victim . As I said above, they are also suggesting that Bill is making a love’s self-sacrifice for Sookie, because he already said with his best victim’s face in the promo: โ€œYou can never love humans without bringing suffering upon themโ€…

              May 17, 2010 at 11:41 pm

I agree Gigi, I think this is how it is going to play out. The only good thing is that people can’t blame Sookie for any of her actions because in her mind Bill left her. I’m sure some still will because they will see what Bill is doing, without realizing that Sookie has no idea of his motives.

        • 154 Dwimordene
          May 16, 2010 at 9:06 pm

I never understood the his roll in the books… Sookie’s behaviour towards him made me mad… You know, he raped her almost every time they fucked… And that was not the worst thing of him… This kind of person have to be acknowledge as ghosts. If AB wants Bill all around the series I hope he does better (whether he is all bad or gets remdention), something real.

          May 17, 2010 at 9:46 pm

Yeah, honestly, I can’t see Bill as the big villain for doing what he did. Sure, I think Bill is a spineless douche in some ways, but I believe he honestly loves Sookie, and telling her to stay away, when he knows he’s going to be putting her in danger (my guess is, he makes a deal with Russell to work for him in exchange for leaving Sookie alone) is one of the more selfless things he’s done.

After watching this promo with my niece, she was pissed at Bill. I was like, “Really? This isn’t even the worst thing he’d done!”

Okay, I don’t have this promo on my trusty DVR, and my internet connection is crap, so someone needs to screencap that moment like, right now. It was only a split second, and I finally saw it when I watched it again on YouTube, but I couldn’t be 100% certain it was Sookie (although I could definitely tell it was Eric). But yeah, once it was mentioned, I went in looking for that moment and when I glimpsed it, it definitely looked like both of them.

Plus, did I see a scene towards the end there with Pam? What is happening with her? It almost looked like she was either being restrained, or she was about to attack someone? I couldn’t make heads or tails of that moment.

Hm. I’m not convinced it’s so simple. She’s there to show the audience something or to be part of a later plot. Would AB throw in some random female just so Eric has a playmate? It seems like a waste of time unless she has a specific purpose and is necessary to the story. We already know Eric loves women because it’s been shown to us in both season 1 and 2. We know women love Eric, because Bill says as much when Sookie first notices the Viking in S1E4. It isn’t really necessary to show us this by writing in a character whose only purpose is to be a sexual toy.

I’m loving the fact Yvetta is wearing fox! Debbie Pelt was also wearing fur in the most recent promo. Does that signal Yvetta is more than meets the eye? Maybe a shifter, too? Though I would imagine Eric could sense that about her … I don’t remember offhand, but did the show address how the minds of shifters and weres sound differently to Sookie?

AB has history hiring people for sex stuff and being naked. She’s fluff and I can see Eric, Pam, Bill and Jessica having sex with her. Maybe Bill hired her because he knows what type of women Eric’s sleep, meanwhile, Bill was planning on taking Sookie to Vermont and he did not want Eric to interfere with the wedding.

              • May 16, 2010 at 9:05 pm

Nope. Not after they already had a “cock-off” about who got Yvetta first.

Pam is fiesty and she gives Eric hell – but she also knows very well where his line his and she doesn’t cross it. She went traipsing through the mud looking a maenad when she clearly didn’t want to…I don’t think she’d screw Yvetta in his office.

I think the scene Sookie / Eric is no dream and not is real, I think it is Eric with Yvetta wondering Sookie, what other explanation could there be?
Yvetta has on the table with Eric I think, but then is not Pam? these scenes are just to fool us.
Club Dead and became a club motorcycle / weres? how cliche is that? without saying that it took the grace of the universe of CH, which although being werewolves are almost a normal community with its own rules of course, but with families and people living their lives like everyone else

    • 249 Dee

The reason that it’s a were club is bc AB changed some things. Sookie won’t go there to read human minds and wont help since Talbot is a vampire. Instead, Joe Manganiello said something like they have to find out the info from were’s to find out about Bill. And in the book there was a were motorcycle crew.

I LOVE that Eric isn’t coddling Sookie but treating her like a grown woman. YAYYY!!

I love that Sookie walks into the house with the gun as Eric is fighting the Were. So it was Sam’s gun that she’s holding, not the Were’s gun. Do you remember that in S2 Sam had a gun?

(Franklin looks like heโ€™s glamouring Tara: โ€œTell me all you know about Bill and Sookieโ€)

There are a couple of times in the promo when Tara and Franklin are interacting that a shimmer happens, as though Tara were being glamoured or magic was somehow involved.

Can anyone tell me who are they burning in the back in the 1:46 min ?

And I look over and over the video and don`t see that the underwear color between Sookie and Ivetta are too much alike? ..Maybe it is a dream sequence after all. But F*** it would suck if it is. It`s too much expectation for a dream sequence … for AB sake i hope it`s real !

And if it is Eric with Yvetta wondering Sookie, where are they ?? …That don`t look like an office or a wamp house for that matter, I mean …look the huge window over there!

Oh no could it be the Talbot scene and he gets through it bc he pictures Sookie. Well might help how viewers look at Eric if that is the case. I don’t know if it’s a dream, him thinking of sookie while with someone else or if we’re lucky enough for it to be real.

I posted about this waaaay upthread somewhere, lol. But after looking over last night’s promo, because I’m completely obsessed and have wasted way too much time here today, at the 12 second mark Sookie and Alcide are sitting on a bed that looks similar to the one here, in a similarly colored room, except we’re seeing the wall opposite the row of windows. I’m pretty sure it’s Alcide’s, but as to whether or not it’s real …?

        May 16, 2010 at 2:39 am

          May 16, 2010 at 3:16 am

Eric being in that weird position makes me think it’s a dream, because Sookie is imagining herself the aggressor here while she, in her real life, is simultaneously growing more empowered and independent in Bill’s absence. It’s a thought, anyway.

WOW ! You`re totally right ! …It`s definitely Alcide`s … Maybe it`s the part in the book when he ask for sookie to let him in when he`s in the window and she refused. well mostly because it`s Alcide`s house but still, and Eric ask them to tell them what had they found out in the club dead.. In the book not too much happen but maybe AB decided to put a little more action Hehehe …I really hope so though I still think (but not want) that this a dream sequence …

          May 16, 2010 at 3:12 am

It seems too early for Sookie to be disrobing so aggressively. It’s one thing to try and prove a point about one’s “skills” and another to strip down to a matching bra and panty set, lol. Unless the part with the kiss/near kiss could be what really happens and this scene is Sookie’s dream later on that night.

            May 16, 2010 at 3:21 am

Yes that I can believe. This is probably the dream after the kiss earlier that night, she probably wanted to do exactly that haha ๐Ÿ™‚

          • May 16, 2010 at 7:54 am

I am wondering whether we aren’t seeing this bit of Sookie in REVERSE, and she is actually putting the robe ON.

Before you all scoff, they pulled a similar trick in the promo for the S2 finale last year.

They had a head shot with Eric appearing to hit the floor at Sophie Anne’s and his fangs shooting OUT.

When the episode aired, what actually transpired was the shot of Eric on the floor, AFTER QSA had molested him – then his fangs retracted and he sat up.

It completely threw all our speculation on what was going to happen in that scene. HBO is tricky, never forget it. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Eric is stationary on the bed here, and it’s a quick snippet so they could certainly pull this off.

The window is open. I am wondering if Sookie has woken up with Eric in bed with her, jumped out, threw on her robe and started giving him an earful.

Eric probably already has an invitation from Alcide from an earlier visit, just as he did in the book.

That would seem to fit with things much better at this point than Sookie going all femme fatale. Or another dream sequence, which I think would be completely jumping the shark at this point.

In a nutshell, I’m convinced this is real, but I’m also convinced it’s not going to be what it looks like.

            • 287 Lotus
              May 16, 2010 at 1:38 pm

I tried to go back via the DVR and see if this is the case, but because of the way the robe is moving, it appears she’s pulling it off instead of putting it on. At the very end before the scene changes, Eric’s head starts to tilt up slightly.

What I would love to see, and this is pure speculation on my part and probably will not happen, is for Sookie, out of upset or anger at Bill or because she has been emotionally wounded, to flirt outrageously with Eric and for him to reject her. In the previous promo, the shot of Eric’s priceless expression in between her saying the line about “skills” and moving in for a kiss looks to be at a different moment from that scene. Maybe Sookie disrobes and Eric moves speedily from the bed to his feet and redresses her quickly. It would explain the amazed, flabbergasted expression on his face? Then again, that’s one of many scenarios running through my brain this morning, and it’s probably about as correct as any of the others, lol.

I’m with you in thinking this is not what it looks like, though. And I’m still not entirely convinced about it being a dream sequence.

Yap… It could be, it sounds more real. One scene of female fatale Sookie is already a lot for her… And for this seasson they have already manipulated photos (as I said before: the scene by the brick wall which is in Sookie house withouth a brick wall… lol).

            • 289 Lotus
              May 16, 2010 at 2:15 pm

After a few minutes to process, I’ve come up with another scenario. Eric shows up at Alcide’s after their first night visiting Lou Pines. He comes into Sookie’s room. She recounts their experience at the bar. Eric is hesitant to let her return. She’s already upset about the phone conversation she had with Bill, and Sookie, being herself, is more determined than ever to find him, so tries to “prove” to Eric that she can handle herself there. She flirts with him, moves in as though to kiss him, pushes him back onto the bed and quickly removes her robe to prove a point. After this, it’s possible Eric zooms back to his feet and we have the shot of his reaction to Sookie’s brazen display.

That’s my crackpot theory of the week, lol.

Both scenarios sound good! I’m at a complete loss! lol I do agree that it’s not what it appears though. I just can’t imagine that Eric and Sookie would have sex yet – I think it would kind of be too soon since this is Alcide’s apt so it’s not that far into the season.

You’re not alone in being unable to imagine it, VL! It’s too soon. The trust must be there first, imho, and as you said we haven’t had enough time in the story, nor the opportunity to establish it.

Hot!! That makes sense actually. The kiss scene could also happen after she puts the robe back on as well, to give him a visual tease that gets him off the bed. Just an idea. But yours is good. I hope thats what happens.

              May 16, 2010 at 5:55 pm

Or maybe ur right SVB and Sookie is throwing the robe on after Eric sneaks in the window, what we are shown is reversed as you said. Then they have a conversation and she teases him by getting close and going in for a kiss. Just another idea.

As usual, SVB, brilliant observation! I would’ve never picked up on the reverse play, but it definitely makes sense. It seems much more likely than any of the other theories. Now I can still hope for a “snuggling” scene!

Okay, I have watched this promo a ridiculous number of times now! I am dying to know what the hell is going on in that E/S scene. It’s driving me crazy! I need to know! I watched it again just now and it’s just too detailed to be a dream. You can clearly see the night sky and the building across the street through the window directly to their right. I was also trying to slow it down to see if she’s wearing her ring but I can’t catch her hand at just the right moment. It doesn’t look as if she’s wearing it but it’s too hard to tell. Also, Eric seems to be “writhing” around a little bit on the bed – all hot and bothered. lol Damn it HBO and your stupid 9 month gap between seasons!

I know it is confusing and worst part is that we probably have to wait until episode 5 or 6 to find out. What are the titles of episode, gotta check because maybe that will be a hint.

Part of me thinks it is real. I think they want us to just assume it is a dream which most are assuming. But if we all assume it’s a dream then there is no surprise there. I think the bigger surprise is for us to think it will be all this time and then for it to be real. It’s possible that she is continuing with her proving she can role play. After she grabs his neck she can throw him on the bed, which would explain the way he is awkwardly laying there. Maybe I am just reaching because I don’t want it to be a dream lol.

Thanks VL for the episode titles. Hmmm would work more if it is episode 6 but not sure if that title would be about them.

I keep hanging on the fact that Eric looks like he was just thrown on the bed, doesn’t look like someone who got into bed waiting for the woman to disrobe and get on top of him. Even the position of his arms make me think this.

That is definitely what it looks like. Gah! They’re killing me. I think you guys are right and it is role playing. Although that’s one hell of a role she’s playing – it takes some serious commitment to strip down to your undies in order to make a point. lol I wonder if Lotus is right and she’s doing this to get back at Bill and Eric will stop her before it goes too far.

I read what, Lotus, wrote and I agree with her. I see it playing out the same way. It is a bit far to go just to prove a point lol but I think at this point on the show she is feeling an attraction to Eric so deep down inside it’s because it’s what she wants to do.

Like I said, she never would have done this during S1 or S2 even to prove a point. She would’ve had a different reaction to Eric. To even get that close up to his face and put her arm around his neck, I think it’s also her way of flirting but without being too obvious bc she can turn around and say she was proving a point.

Let’s just hope that whatever it is, we’ll be happy with this scene.

I don’t like the part where Bill calls Sookie and tells her to not look for him. You know that’ll just make her even more determine, and also make Bill seem more like a victim. Oh… poor… Beehl…. pffft! Damnit! Now I’m wondering if Alan Ball is really going to be an ass and still portray Bill as the poor victim here, when he is clearly CLEARLY an asshole! Since Bubba leaves it in the book (& there’s obviously no Bubba in TB-world), there wouldn’t really be any reason for the body to get in Alcide’s apartment. Kinda sad though, cause that was a fun part in the book.

I can see Jessica putting the dead guy in Bill’s closet. Jessica brought the dead guy home because she did not know what to do with it and she figure Bill would know what to do with it.

Every time I see that part in the promos, I’m like, no, Jessica, you drag the body out of the house, not into it.

lol, she needs guidance from Auntie Pam. ๐Ÿ™‚

So…Frankin Mott shows up that same night Beeehl dissappears…Tara is wearing the same top…as the “Sookie, Tara and Layfayette” minisode (doesn’t her top appear to be stained?)

    • May 16, 2010 at 4:12 am

That can’t be the same night Eggs is shot, can it???

        May 16, 2010 at 4:58 am

Yep…I just looked thru tha last ep of season 3…Tara is waering the same top…odd timing for Frankin Mott to show up, don’t you think?

        • May 16, 2010 at 6:06 am

I’m confused about the timeline. S2 left off with Tara and her purple top crying over scrambled Eggs. Now later the same night she’s tending bar and connecting with Mott? That can’t be. Could ep1 backtrack to before Eggs was shot???

I think this is exactly what happens. Which means other things could backtrack as well. ๐Ÿ˜‰

              How intriguing.

I was totally prepared to find Franklin sexy and seductive, but I gotta say, he’s completely grossing me out. Where is that chemistry that’s supposed to be between him and Tara?

Ok, I’m no longer sure they are backtracking. In this cap from the finale Tara’s hair is down–(as it is in the minisode)

              http://black-celebration.net/caps/displayimage.php?pid=863632&fullsize=1

but she has it in a ponytail in the trailer. I guess it’s possible she put it up and then took it down again but not likely.

whatever, they’re screwing with us big time. LOL.

Purple is going to be big this season! LOL!

As for Mott, the only thing about him that doesn’t turn me off is his boots. This Texas girl has always had a thing for men in pointed toed boots with high heels. Yum!

Yes. He looks like he’s glamouring her rather than seducing her. She appears to be completely terrified. It thought that was going to come later. Poor Tara.

Going with the parallel theory of the show, they always make Tara’s storyline an explicit expression of what is implicit with B/S. TB is going to bonk us over the head with Tara until we finally ‘get’ B/S.

                    • May 16, 2010 at 2:51 pm

Absolutely, but I thought it would at least start off as a seduction.

      May 16, 2010 at 4:32 am

I like CD Alcide so I’m happy about him. He just better not get too close to Sookie bc thats supposed to be Eric lol.

Now I’m wondering, if Bill calls Sookie and tells her he doesn’t want to be found uhmmm then what. Does she just go home lol or will she continue searching, but why would she do that. That parts a bit confusing. Too bad there will be no staking scene since nobody is gonna come to a were bar to stake someone. Although Ryan said in an interview that he faces off against Sarah.

      • 378 Kathy
        May 16, 2010 at 4:54 am

The no staking makes me sad. But God forbid Eric save Sookie in a big way. That’s left for Beeel. I hope I’m proved wrong, but Beeel it seems will always be AB’s hero.

Kathy, I think it’s pretty safe to say that Eric will be doing some saving in S3. He saves Sookie from the Were apparently and he is in Jackson with her. I think things are going to turn around in S3.

I don’t know – she kept looking for him and saved his sorry ass in the books, even after she was told he’d gone to Lorena. She was mad at him, she still saved it.

        May 16, 2010 at 4:20 pm

Dee, maybe it’s not a staking but something else that injures her. They seem to have left both visits to CD in – the first with the white top and then in the second one (where she is screaming) she’s wearing what appears to be a dress.

        • 386 Ashley
          May 16, 2010 at 6:00 pm

Yeah you are right there are two separate outfits which makes me think theyve left in both CD nights.

          • 387 VikingLover
            May 16, 2010 at 6:13 pm

At first I thought maybe the Were rips her shirt off and that is her bra that we see. I’m just not sure though! I mean, she’s wearing the shirt while Alcide is comforting her and it looks intact. Unless what they show us is out of order and the comforting scene is before they go to CD. Or it could be after Bill calls her to tell her not to coming looking for him. Or maybe before they go to CD, she is distraught over Bill being kidnapped. I don’t know! I’m grasping at straws!

            • 388 Lotus
              May 16, 2010 at 6:37 pm

It would make sense that her first night at the bar would be when she’s wearing the blue jean skirt and white top. We’ve seen her in the first outfit in conversation with the bouncer, asking if she’s dressed appropriately and him replying that she looks like dinner. So maybe this were in both scenes is someone with information and Sookie’s task is to obtain that information via whatever means at her disposal. Maybe she picked up on a few of his thoughts and he knows of Bill’s whereabouts. Something obviously occurs between the first night at LP’s and the next for her to be screaming as the were handles her, since in the first promo she’s going willingly through the door with him while Alcide looks on.

IN Spain there was a lot of advertising for the second seasson, but it is runned by some private company… Or whatever, I don’t know really because I never whatch TV, but it was later than in USA because when I saw the first one I had already seen both seassons and that was not long ago… There is no news about a third seasson either. Wow! S3 is going to be absolutely crazy!
Franklin looks very evil(in a hot way). He might give Eric a run for his money, for the baddest vampire in Bon Temp. I wonder how old they made him. If Russell may have sent him knowing that Eric runs that area, he’s most likely is older then Eric. Hmm Just a thought…

    M…

Suddenly, I had the idea that Franklin could be asking for Bill and Sookie in such intense way, because probably AB has combined, not just the personalities of Franklin and Mickey in his role, but also the Charles Twining’s motives, and his mission as well…

Remember that, in TB, it was Bill the one who killed LongShadow to save Sookie.

guys, i’ve just looked at a few pictures with at the trianon building, which supposedly were russell’s mansion, and the windows match those the in the E/S scene…
also, who else believes jessica’s sister is a were and is attacking sookie in the scene in which she’s wearing the dress bill gave her and tara is with her?

    • May 16, 2010 at 11:09 am

Yep I’ve just been checking this tonight.

The Trianon was actually speculated to be Alcide’s apartment building – there were shots of Anna Paquin on set here dressed in the lace top she is wearing in alot of her Alcide scenes.

And yep, the windows match it. Rows of long rectangular windows with a smaller square window above it. You can even see in the pic here that the windows open outwards like the one in the clip. I think it’s safe to call this scene with E/S is definitely occurring here:

The building that is probably Russell’s mansion is this one:

      http://www.natchezdemocrat.com/news/2010/apr/13/hbo-vampire-series-films-longwood/

      • 408 andrea
        May 16, 2010 at 11:17 am

which means that sookie is taken to alcide’s apartment instead of russell’s mansion after she is injured at the club(i doubt sookie will get staked). if this is correct, then how will she enter the mansion and save bill? there must be something else happening.

        • 409 VikingLover
          May 16, 2010 at 4:30 pm

Ah so then the scene we see at Alcide’s could be when Eric gives Sookie his blood to heal her. So maybe SVB is right and she is putting her robe on AFTER the blood exchange. Andrea, I think Eric seduces Talbot in order to get inside the mansion. I think that’s how both he and Sookie are going to get in.

          • 410 VikingLover
            May 16, 2010 at 4:33 pm

Just to add: so then I think the scene with Sookie trying to kiss Eric and the scene where they are on the bed are not the same – they must be seperate scenes and they are trying to trick us. I think the first one is her proving that she’ll be fine in CD and the second is Eric healing her after she gets injured.

            • 411 andrea
              May 16, 2010 at 4:39 pm

the bed scene has to come just after the “skills” thing because eric is wearing the same tank top and sookie the same robe. my guess is that the first part really happens, and the latter it’s just sookie’s imagination.

                May 16, 2010 at 4:41 pm

Hmmm, but the first scene could be before they head to CD that night and the second could be later that night?

      • May 16, 2010 at 11:21 am

        That’s Olivia I think, Belle
We don’t know much about her except from the casting call:

[OLIVIA] This elderly woman in her 80s, who moves with the aid of a walker and also uses an oxygen tank, lives in a house in the middle of nowhere. She mistakes Bill for her son…GUEST STAR (48)

      • 419 Dwimordene
        May 16, 2010 at 2:54 pm

I thought the white one was going to be Russells… BUt it seems to be better as appartments… That building is not done as a unique cell. And I also find it too plain, uninteresting and ugly to be a house for someone rich (that would have better got a nice architect for the work)lesser a king… But we saw that vampires have not a lot of taste in that matter when we saw QSA’s home and terrible pool room… So much money and such a waste…, arg!!!! lol

    • May 16, 2010 at 4:57 pm

You mean when she gets attacked by the Were? Oh, so maybe the scene where she screams is the same one as the first CD scene and not a second night at CD.

Firstly who is the old lady that gets up to greet Bill all covered in dirt at the door of a house. Cos that is him at the end with fangs out ready to eat.

And Eric does not look comfortable lying on the bed when you pause it. Mind you SVB could be right about HBO tricking us. It could be in reverse and she has healed from staking. Eric could be getting his strength back after giving Sookie blood.

And it is a woman screaming and on fire…

I don’t know if it is a woman, the hair definitely looks like a mans. You do hear screaming but I think it’s someone in the mansion who sees this happening and is screaming. Not 100% sure but looks like a man.

OMG!You’re comment has me so excited! What makes you think the torch is a female?

My big alchemical prediction for S3 was that since Bill smoldered and turned black in s1 and Godric burstin white flames, s2, a vampire would go up with red flames s3. Since Lorena was heavily identified with the color red, I’m sure it’s going to be her.

So I’m totally confused about one thing. In the “waiting sucks” trailer we see Eric jump in front of a bullet to save someone. However in this promo it looks as if he enters the house to fight the Were while Sookie is outside of the house. I mean, I highly doubt he takes a bullet to save the Were. Any thoughts?

      May 16, 2010 at 5:21 pm

I was wondering about the exact same thing, VL…

It makes enough sense that Sookie would jump in with a gun during Eric’s scuffle with the werewolf. (I guess she could have gotten it from Sam, her brother, Eric himself, whomever…) But I really don’t get what Eric’s diving deal in last ‘waiting sucks’ teaser is now. There’s no way he’s taking a bullet for a werewolf, unless– as some have speculated– he wanted to prevent the were’s death so that he could interrogate him.

That seems REALLY far-fetched though. I just can’t imagine that Eric would purposefully compromise his own or Sookie’s safety that way. So I still contend the diving was to protect Sookie. I just can’t make sense of the chronology of events with what we’ve been given. At all.

        May 16, 2010 at 5:29 pm

I also think he jumps in front the bullet to protect Sookie, and the were, overwhelmed by the scent, attacks Eric and drinks his blood. This is where we would get the “Who sent you??” and Sookie holding a gun on the were while he and Eric struggle.

      May 16, 2010 at 5:21 pm

don’t be ๐Ÿ™‚ eric and sookie are outside talking, eric says goodbye smiling, when he senses the were inside the house. the demands sookie to let him in and she finally does. he enters her house searching for the were while she is afraid to enter and takes the gun from her purse or smth. the moment eric attacks the were she also enters the house, sees the were and shoots at the same moment eric jumps at him. but because he used his vampire speed, sookie didn’ realize he was going to be in front of the were. wounded, he demands the were to tell him who sent him and probably kills him. sookie, ashamed and remorseful for shooting the man who was trying to defend her, finally kisses him (fingers crossed).

    • 448 Lotus
      May 16, 2010 at 5:25 pm

Unless that shot of Eric is him coming into the house, before Sookie, as soon as she gives him the invitation. You can tell he’s speeding as he enters, so maybe he walks into the living room and there’s the were, and when Sookie comes in behind him, the were fires a gun and Eric jumps in front of the bullet?

She probably goes right in 2, it’s not her stile to stay behind… I don’t think the gun is hers, I don’t think the weres were there to kill her, but unable and kidnap her, so one of them must have remained in human form, it must be their gun, where could she have gotten it, if not? E takes the bullet for her, I think, and then she gets hold of the gun and shoots… maybe?

Maybe Jason gave her a gun. Sookie in the books knows how to handle gun because her brother gave shooting lessons.

      May 16, 2010 at 5:57 pm

Yeah, I think you guys are right. I think the sequence they showed is out of order – meaning I think the gun belongs to the Were and Sookie keeps it and takes it with her to Merlotte’s. Or maybe Eric gives her one later that she keeps with her for safety after the attack? It seems as if she doesn’t know they are after her until they attack her at home so I don’t think she would have a gun before that. I don’t know. Confused! But I do believe that Eric takes the bullet to save her – of this I am 100% certain. And as Lotus said, after he is shot the Were shifts back to human form to drink from him. This is when he says “Who sent you????”.

The preview certainly makes me look forward to what we can expect to see in season three. AB has put Bill on a pedestal as the dashing romantic hero because it’s a long way down to the bottom when all of his deceptions are finally revealed. Although I suspect the really hardcore BBs will find a way to justify even the most heinous and unspeakable of revelations. Actually, I wonder what Bill *would* have to do in order to put him beyond the pale…tearfully confess to a torrid affair with Sookie’s Gran? Admit to selling crack to preschoolers? Install a hidden pay-per-view porno cam in men’s room of Merlott’s Bar?

Honestly, I don’t think there is anything he can do. They’ll do what they do with the books, CH didn’t do justice to bill’s character and she was wrong with the rest of the story lol. First AB was a genius to them and then they’ll probably blame AB too. I once read one BL say that she liked Bill even more after the trunk scene bc she felt bad for him lol. Yes sookie gets raped and almost drained but lets not feel bad for her lol. I was shocked at that comment.

Me: This is part of the very ugly problem: you characterize BILLโ€™S situation in that trunk as tragic but not Sookieโ€™s! I tell you what, if I had a boyfriend who couldnโ€™t control himself and raped me when he was hungry I might think about permanently removing myself from his vicinity.

      Later on–

ZZ: The fact that I donโ€™t mention Sookie doesnโ€™t mean I donโ€™t consider her situation as tragic too

Me: Girlie, if concern for Sookieโ€™s plight had ever entered your mind she would be the first thing you mentioned in regards to the trunk scene instead of leaving her entirely out of your โ€˜tragicโ€™ equation.

Lets just hope that her sympathy for Bills situation doesnt carry over into real life. Bill was starved but if he cant control himself he shouldnt be with Sookie, end of story. And thats not the only time he had issues with control in the books. In the books, the graveyard sex scene was another where Sookie was scared and thought he might hurt her. And after the football game, the second time they had sex and she told him to “be sweet” he said no next time. Hes always had self control issues when it came to sex. The trunk incident was just the worst of all of them.

my problem was also that he never said he was sorry. His only response was “oh no” Then he asked Eric to leave them alone so he can talk to Sookie and instead of talking about what happened, he questions her about another man.

lol! I was hoping we would get to see a little snippet of the flashback in this promo. Not that I’m complaining with what was shown because we got A LOT of good stuff on there. More than I could have imagined or hoped for!

Incidentally, is Eric wearing the same outfit that he’s wearing when the Queen shows up to Fangtasia as when he’s speaking to Sookie in Fangtasia? I can see that he’s definitely wearing the ring around his neck already in that scene with Sookie.

        • 476 Serena

          May 16, 2010 at 9:55 pm

I noticed that too. I do think he is wearing the same outfit that he wore when the Queen visits. Which means she might visit Fangtasia twice, the first in her lavender dress, when she finds him in the basement, and the second visit is the night that the Queen visits. Are we to assume that SA knows that Bill has gone missing and that is the reason for her visit to Eric? Also, I wonder if SA meets Sookie when she is there.

              May 16, 2010 at 10:08 pm

I just checked, and you may be right. It is hard to tell because he is leaning forward over the table when he is talking to Sookie. That would be one busy night for Mr. Northman, if so!

          • 484 Serena
            May 16, 2010 at 10:07 pm

Yeah I was thinking about that, if SA and Sookie pass each other, I doubt it, but Fangtasia is empty in all three scenes so it is probably the same night. my thought is that SA walks in on the Yvetta smut scene.. and likes it! lol! I think it would be weird if Sookie were to walk in on yet another Eric/Yvetta scene..

            • 485 Robin
              May 16, 2010 at 10:11 pm

I think it more likely that Sookie walks in as SA is leaving, or the other way around. SA told Bill that she looks forward to meeting Sookie, so maybe this is where they meet.

              • 486 Dee
                May 16, 2010 at 11:13 pm

I know that is why I was excited, we see a couple of E/S scenes together. First her showing up in the lavender dress, then the white button down shirt, we have them alone at her house with the were attacck and they continue on into the woods. Then we have the great scene at Alcide’s apt. I have a feeling there will be more too.

I also noticed that Eric is wearing same outfit as when QSA visits. Maybe Sookie comes there first to talk about bill, then he calls the queen to let her know and she shows up after. I just wonder if Eric would call the queen to tell her but it’s possible. If he doesn’t seem to be the one who thinks Sookie should go after bill then it’s possible that he is not worried about getting in trouble for bill being kidnapped. OR probably more possible is that after Sookie goes to Fangtasia with the lavendar dress, he calls the queen to discuss this with her, she shows up. Then after the queen leaves, he calls Sookie to tell her any info he might’ve found out.

  77. 487 Serena
    May 16, 2010 at 9:13 pm

So the theory is the E/S scene is at Alcide’s and after Bill’s phone call right? But TB Eric has a legitimate reason not to be in Mississippi and galavanting around in disguise as Leif. So why is he there? Because Sookie was crying! I bet the convo goes something like this:S: Why are you here, Eric? E: I felt you were upset and had to come. Swoon city! Eric is endangering himself being in Jackson for her emotional wellbeing,.. huge brownie points! Then he probably challenges her wherewithal and she retorts his lines, says she can handle it, they talk about their plans and then she says that thing about her skills. (And hopefully throws him onto the bed.. lol)..

This would also explain why she isn’t still in her Lou Pine’s outfit, time has elapsed and she’s had time to put a bathrobe on or pj’s or whatever but really who sleeps in a bra and panty set? lol.

If this is the way the scene goes down, can it be possible to love Eric even more?

Ok, been thinking about the S/E bed scene FAR too much trying to fit the pieces together. Seems like it is way too soon for them to actually get together – which means some alternative explanation seems more likely. The latest far fetched theory that I’ve been tossing about inside my head (and now here): Could that actually be Hallow taking on Sookie’s appearance and starting to enact the spell that will leave Eric without with memory and searching for his love (Sookie) at the start of book 4?

They’ve been mixing things up from the books a bit so I could see AB starting to pull in a a little witchy action early.

I just watched this again, a couple of random parallels with season 1 jumped out this time:

Bill to Sookie: First visit to Merlotte’s (S1): “Do you have any of that artificial blood?”
Franklin to Tara: First visit to Merlotte’s (S3): “You got any of those True Bloods?”

Bill to Sookie when she asks if she’s dressed ok: First visit to Fangtasia (S1): You look like vampire bait.
Were to Sookie when she asks if she’s dressed ok: First visit to Were Bar (S3): You look like dinner.

Purely random. The first one is interesting though, considering it appears Franklin’s after Sookie.

What if he is LongShadow’s maker?i mean we know that we cannot have book 5 since was Bill in the tv show so AB could have used this passage for Franklin and Tara’s story…
Maybe in the end Franklin will find out that killing Sookie is not a cause of pain for Bill since he doesn’t seems to love her so much or just becouse they are not together anymore..or becouse Franklin would see something in Eric and Sookie…

I was thinking that Mott might tie back to NY, too. But I doubt they’ll use the name Hot Rain, or relate it (necessarily) to Longshadow. (If they do, I don’t think it will be because Longshadow was Hot Rain’s– or whomever’s– lover, etc. (Although it might present a counterpoint to Eric’s vengeance storyline that way, so who knows?)

Well, I half agree. The damage is done with that plot though.

Anyhow, I have a gut feeling that FM is there in BT for the same reason that Russell took Bill, even if FM has not been sent by RE but a third party. But it might be related to Bill’s trial, someone may have had their interest piqued about why Bill would kill another Vamp for a human, and Eric let it slip that she was useful.

          May 17, 2010 at 4:03 pm

I’m really thinking the woman Bill and Lorena have sex with is related to FM. What if they kidnapped the woman, glamoured her (thus ‘dead behind the eyes’) and turned her into a sex and blood slave and eventually killed her? (stripper who gets drained by ‘3’ vamps could actually be ‘-B and L) Maybe Franklin and the woman were from New York and Bill and Lorena were there in the past pulling another of their con jobs, took the woman’s house and decided to keep her around for a while as a pet. (like Amy suggested she and Jason do with Eddie)

FM comes to BT for revenge with the blessing of his sheriff (Vincent Gallo), who has his own reasons for wanting Bill, just like Lorena has taken Bill with the blessing of the king.

That would be a really interesting twist on the FM storyline from the books. The trailer made it pretty obvious he’s there, at least in part, for Bill, and possibly both Bill and Sookie. Is Vincent Gallo playing a sheriff from another area? Do we know yet what episode(s) he’s in? I’m so excited that this season seems to be focusing more on the vamps and vamp politics. Hopefully, AB learned from his mistake last season in ending the Dallas story too soon.

It’s looks like Bill will the Long Shadow story. Bill will get a story. Franklin will go after Sookie for revenged for staking Long Shadow. After the kidnapped, Sookie and Bill will breakup.

If Franklin is trying to get revenge on Bill through Sookie, that could parallel Eric’s revenge story if he’s seeking revenge on Russell through Talbot.

Sorry to post OT — this isn’t directly related to the preview, but I just checked out the HBO site. They’ve rearranged the cast and crew section again to add several of the S2 characters. I’m not sure if this will reflect the S3 credits or not, but there seems to be three levels/groups of cast credited now. The main five are still first: AP, SM, ST, RK and RW. Right after that are KB, NE, AS and DAW. So they have the 9 cast members featured in most of the promos and the cast photo. After that are the rest of the regulars: AB, TL, JP, CP, and WS. Finally, they have the season-specific regulars and guest stars like ERW and MF. I was kind of bummed because they had AS listed 3rd right after SM, but now he’s bumped back down to that 2nd group. For as much as they use him and his image to promote this show, he deserves to be added to that main group.

I wonder if this will be the order for the S3 credits? I believe that Denis O’Hare will be added as a regular for S3, but I’m not sure if anyone else will be added to the opening credits. It looks like KB got the biggest promotion — from recurring to listed 6th. Most people probably don’t care, but I really want AS to be listed 3rd!

He should definitely be listed after Stephen Moyer. Now Eric is one of the main characters. I mean c’mon, I love Jason and Sam, but are they more important than Eric in the storyline?

I read that AS had his contract renegotiated last summer, and I just assumed that a promotion in the credits was part of it. It’s strange, because the HBO site had him listed 3rd, and now he’s 8th. If the two promos that we’ve seen are any indicator, he’s definitely one of the main characters for S3. I don’t expect him to be listed right after AP, but I’m going to be disappointed if he’s not listed right after SM. And you’re right, Eric has his own story this season, just like Jason and Sam. I don’t see why the main cast can’t change as the story progresses.

        • May 17, 2010 at 5:55 pm

They should AT LEAST list him among the main charas in the opening credits. I’ve been saying it since season 2. Having him listed once again in alphabetical order (which means he’s one of the last names) would be a crime.

I think this might only reflect S2 since that’s what is airing at the moment since it doesn’t look as if they’ve added any of the S3 cast, right? I would check back after S3 airs. Remember that they are still filming S3 (and casting I think) so I don’t think they want to give anything away. I could be wrong though.

Right, they probably won’t start adding S3 cast until after those episodes air. I just thought it was odd because for the last few months AS was listed as 3rd and with the main cast, and now, with this new rearrangement, he’s listed as 8th. They seem to be grouping the characters of Pam, Laffy, Eric and Jessica immediately after the five main characters and before the other regulars who’ve been in the opening credits for both seasons. I thought that this new list might represent S3 since KB is listed 6th and we know she has been promoted to regular for S3 after just recurring in S2.

Since this is done by HBO, it may be the way that the main and regular cast is credited for next season, and the S3 additions will be added in, presumably alphabetically. Guess I’m just intrigued with the way that casts are credited, especially since there’s can be a lot of behind-the-scenes maneuvering and negotiations involved in which actors get the top spots.

I checked out the site and im not sure if that order had anything to do with the credits, because Kristen Bauer is listed befor AS and she definitely has a smaller role than him. So im not sure.

The reason why I am giving it such credence is because it’s the HBO site and, since it’s less than a month before the new season begins, I thought that it might reflect the S3 credits. The very fact that KB is listed before AS is why I believe it has to do with S3 and not S2. Kristen was only recurring and listed in the end credits in S2 and now she’s listed as 6th and right behind the main 5 cast members. It’s been well documented that she’s been promoted to the regular cast for S3 and she’s been featured in the S3 promos. The only reason it bothered me was that AS had moved from the middle of the order on this list to 3rd, right behind Moyer, and I thought that reflected a promotion for him for S3. Now, he’s been moved back to 8th. I posted it here because I remember SVB posting some thoughts about the credits for S3. I hope that I’m wrong and this newly arranged list is now what we’ll see next season. Oh well, like I said before, I’m sure most fans don’t care, but the credits matter to me and I’m hoping to see AS move up into the main cast.

It was probably too spoilerific. But I had been thinkin about the quote, “this type of moral anarchy cannot be allowed.” Vampires don’t have many morals, (see Bill) so what the hell is he talking about? Besides their power and respect system, the only thing they care about in regards to one another is 1.) if they kill other vamps 2.) the possession and/or sharing of humans. So it makes me think they are squabbling over jurisdiction and control of the telepath. possibily.

      • 535 Dee
        May 20, 2010 at 3:13 am

I think it’s just that vamps have their own definitions of morals. Such as vamps themselves dealing V when it’s done by draining vamps and even killing them. So the fact that they would take part in such thing and profit from it maybe.

Okay, so this is kind of “spoilery” so I’m not sure how many of you would like to know this info. For those that do, continue reading ๐Ÿ™‚ :

So this is interesting: Yvetta is going to appear in 4 episodes. They are as follows:

Ep 1 Bad Blood (which we knew)
Ep 3 It Hurts Me Too
    Ep 4 9 Crimes
    Ep 10 I Smell A Rat

Yeah, she’s definitely not just dancer/Eric’s play thing. She is definitely a spy!

I couldn’t find a listing for Hadley, QSA (despise her), or the Magister on IMDB. I’m sure they are keeping these under strict/tight wraps. I read an old casting spoiler from S2 and there was some speculation at that time that Hadley would make an appearance in a few eps in S3. Ludis doesn’t seem to be listed in any of the episodes either. Talbot is only listed in Ep 1 for now and Russell in Ep 1 and Ep2 (for now). Franklin Mott is only listed as appearing in 2 eps so far:

    Ep 1 Bad Blood
    Ep 2 Beautifully Broken

Alcide will appear in much of S3:

    Ep 1 Bad Blood
Ep 3 It Hurts Me Too
    Ep 4 9 Crimes
    Ep 5 Trouble
Ep 6 What Do You Know About Love
Ep 7 Let The Bodies Hit The Floor
Ep 8 Night on the Sun

I’m not sure how complete IMDB is since AP is only listed as appearing in the first 3 episodes which we all know is obviously not the case. lol

Yeah me too. I’m thinking he bumps into Sookie at the door of Fangtasia or maybe Pam won’t let him see Eric but she lets Sookie through… part of me thinks they did this because when Alcide shows up she freaks out for a second, (it does seem like a surprise to her and that Eric didn’t tell her scum was showing up at her door, lol), but then it seems like she relaxes and trusts him a bit. That would be believable if she had seen him at Fangtasia and knew Eric knew him.

  88. 539 Dee
    May 20, 2010 at 5:18 am

I think Sookie freaks out when she sees Alcide because it’s the day after the were attack and she knows they’re still after her. So gives her reason to be a bit jumpy.

VL-yeah I agree, it’s hard to tell with IMDB because definitely doesn’t seem updated especially if AP is only listed for first 3 episodes.

As someone who has a listing on IMDB, I can tell you a lot of times it takes them a while to add things (even when you’re in the credit list) and for them to actually get it right.

By the way, this is a really interesting photo because in the promo above, there is a shot of Alicide growling at a woman with black hair and who is wearing a “halter” type top. It looks like it might be Sookie. It looks as if all hell breaks loose in Club Dead like in the books.

I can’t wait for Eric to see Sookie in this get up by the way!

I know right! It looks like it’s during the “change” and he can’t control himself – like in the books after the staking when everyone goes crazy and all of the Weres shift. Unless he’s pretending and it’s all part of some plan they came up with?

Well maybe, hmm. The guy in front of him is looking up, so it makes me wonder if she said she wanted to go dance on stage or something, and this is his grumpy/that time of the lunar cycle reaction. lol. Thats what came to my mind anyway.

Or maybe she wants to go crowd surfing like Debbie.

          May 23, 2010 at 9:02 pm

One of the other snippets of the season 2 recap it showed Debbie, at least I think its Debbie, in front of Russell (he might be on the stage), he’s pushing her downwards by her shoulders, I wonder if its related to the Alcide clip and what Sookie wants to do?

    • 547 Serena
      May 23, 2010 at 9:21 pm

VL its def. her, you can see Sookie dancing by herself in the promo around the 1:22 mark (she is dead center, with her back to the camera). They dangled her dressed like this before our very eyes, and we didn’t even know it.

      • 548 VikingLover
        May 23, 2010 at 9:38 pm

Oh wow, that is her! So that’s how she and Eric get into the house! Is it Russell that’s pushing her down on the dance floor in the clip you mentioned or was it Talbot?

        • 549 Serena
          May 23, 2010 at 9:42 pm

I just watched it again. It is Russell, and he is on a stage with sunglasses on. He pushes Debbie down until she is on all fours almost,..

I’m wondering if he gets her high on his own supply before she crowd surfs.. She has on some pelts on her shoulders while on stage, but she is down to her panties during the crowd surfing scene.. what is he making Debbie do? argh.

          • 550 Serena
            May 23, 2010 at 9:57 pm

OK weird, very weird, somewhere along the way Debbie loses her miniskirt. In promo #1 she has it on while crowd surfing, season 2 recap its gone. Does she crowd surf twice? Or did some Were strip her of it?

          • 551 VikingLover
            May 23, 2010 at 9:58 pm

Oh, so it’s Debbie that he’s pushing down, not Sookie? Oh, okay! So then I definitely think that’s how Sookie and Eric get into the house. Eric comes on to Talbot and Sookie probably pretends to be a Fangbanger. By the way, now I’m totally convinced that the E/S scene is her trying to convince Eric that she can handle/do this. She looks nothing like the Southern Belle she is in that pic! I love it! I’m dying to see Eric’s reaction to her new look. lol

            • 552 VikingLover
              May 23, 2010 at 10:02 pm

Although, I’m still confused over that snippet of Alcide growling at her. Perhaps all hell breaks loose (for some reason) and Talbot takes them back to his place.

              • 553 Serena
                May 24, 2010 at 11:58 am

Alright a few observations, Russell is getting the celebrity treatment on that stage and whatever he is doing Sookie wants a part of it, I think the dance scene like in the book is gone (no Tara here).

When Russell pushes Debbie down, as VL suggested it could very well be after she is branded. Thats why the pelts are put on her and she does go down easily.

I can see Sookie volunteering to be branded, (she will just have Eric or Bill heal her), this would make Alcide flip out. No wonder she slugs a few and thank god she wore pants.

Her being branded wouldn’t be too different than Sookie’s night 2 injury, more or less self sacrificing her body for Bill.

So what does the branding mean? Is it an all access pass to Russell’s mansion? Would it make Sookie part of the pack now?

I think its fair to say, as Debbie goes , so goes Sookie.

            • 554 Serena
              May 23, 2010 at 10:08 pm

Yes me too! I think that is def. Eric’s shoulder/elbow in the pic, Alcide’s night 2 jacket looks very different. E’s reaction is bound to be priceless. Do you think Eric is at Lou Pines?

I love the clip of Sookie throwing down shots which is in the recap. I think that also reaffirms that it is her at the 1:22 mark, cause I think those are her drinks on the way. go drunk Sookie go. lol. If they keep close to CD’s second night, I might be able to forgive them for DODS. lol.

                May 23, 2010 at 10:31 pm

LOL Me too! Hey, you know what I was thinking? I wonder if Eric tells Sookie what goes on at Russell’s house (the male orgies, etc) and Sookie tries to convince him that she can handle seeing and being at that type of thing. That’s what prompts her to strip down to her undies in that E/S clip. This reminds me of the “orgy” scene with E/S in the books – meaning they go to an orgy together. lol I guess this is another reason for the DOD scene.

            • May 23, 2010 at 10:29 pm

Dude, the Lou Pines scene above is a total splice job! If you watch the waitress leave the bar with the tray of drinks, she looks like an African-American woman with curly ringlets. The built in eye-path in transition makes you follow the waitress so it looks like the same scene, but its not the same waitress, she has straighter hair and it may in fact be a man. Sneaky sneaky HBO.

  94. 572 Serena
    May 24, 2010 at 12:42 am

Some things occurred to me today with the new footage from the recap clip with Sookie and the new outfit, which have made me re-think a bit about the past promos. (This thing turned into an essay, sorry bout that, but I think its worth a read… I make a point eventually!)

So, one of my pet theories for this season is that Alcide would be playing the role of Bubba, interrupting Eric and Sookie at some point, mostly because it would be off the charts sexual tension and it potentially would throw cold water at the Sookie x Alcide ship. So when we got the images of the E/S scene, which happens to be at Alcide’s apartment, I said to myself, there is no way Alcide doesn’t walk in on this. Hold onto that thought for a moment.

So my second pet theory is that we are going to be robbed of a true post Club Dead scene, Ray Don that means you. I think we have all felt it was in jeopardy. For me there are two reasons for this; 1.) My misgivings started after having watched this E/S scene, which I have secretly hated because it is way too intimate, its too much too soon, so it made me think they are rushing it. 2.)Eric’s presence in Russell’s mansion is hard to understand with the whole revenge plot line. This Russell is no fool and knows who Eric is, either as a Sheriff or as a Viking. I don’t think Eric can wear a disguise and pull it off especially with Russell not being a friendly, but a hostile. Eric isn’t walking through that door. So at any rate, I think we should prepare ourselves for the worst and not get our hopes up that there will be a true post CD scene.

Which brings me to this; The E/S scene. Remember how way back when promo 1 came out, we were sure that the E/S scene was real and not a dream, because there was blood?

We had this image, what we thought of as the act itself: http://img375.imageshack.us/img375/6842/screencap4576221.png

Then this one, the blood seeping through her robe: http://img408.imageshack.us/img408/7941/screencap4576165.png

And I said oh look there is a medical kit on that bed, there has to be blood and then I found out there IS actually a med kit on that bed, (directly above her right forearm); http://img268.imageshack.us/img268/8489/screencap4575835.png

Where have the marks gone? http://img203.imageshack.us/img203/2019/picture2xro.png

This version of Sookie is unscratched, how does that happen?

I think Eric gives Sookie his blood at Alcide’s apartment. I think its after they are caught by Alcide, and it serves two purposes, to better alter Sookie’s disguise (she’d be a dead giveaway with scratches) and to save Sookie some face with Alcide, (they are awfully intimate on that bed assuming she climbs onto it, which I don’t think is a far stretch). I think once Alcide busts through the door Eric says he is giving Sookie some of his blood. This would pretty much mirror the Bubba scene, their almost hookup is stopped by a third party and Eric’s answer is the same..

Its not that I prefer it this way, I was really looking forward to Sookie getting staked, maybe it happens some point this season, but I think she and Eric are going to find different paths into the mansion.

Now this theory is out the window if there are indeed no marks, but then why the med-kit? And I’m really praying I’m wrong, I really want that scene. I just don’t think we will get it with what we know of season 3’s plot as it now stands. Maybe this gets hinted at tonite with the new clip or maybe not, but at least it will give us something to think about until then. ๐Ÿ™‚

    • May 24, 2010 at 1:05 am

Nice work, Serena! This sounds very plausible to me. On the HBO site last season, a first aid kit was associated with Eric. I kept waiting and waiting for him to use it. Talk about a long tease!
